Meet the founders
Our Story
Kia ora, we’re Pia Cairns (Ngāti Kahu) and Amy Keremete (Ngāti Tūwharetoa) the founders behind Uppy Store, and we are so incredibly glad you’re here.
Our story started across the world in London. We instantly bonded over the finer things in life: travelling, a perfectly curated cheese board and a glass of champagne.
Fast forward 10 years through moves back to NZ, a couple of major life updates, we both became mums.
Born out of necessity (and sore arms)
We’re here to support you through the beautiful, chaotic, and heavy-lifting days of toddlerhood. Because while they might be growing bigger by the second, they’ll always be our babies and they’ll always want to be carried.
Thanks for letting us be a part of your village. (And yes, we still make time for that champagne and cheese board whenever we can!)
